Book Report
Novel Reading: Three men in a Boat
There are three people and one dog who are planning to go to
travel by using a boat, however when they started to planning about travel they
usually start arguing such as what to bring for the travel or what they have to
do if they get in natural diseases. They found big problem. They have health
problem because they smoke a lot also and also they drink a lot of alcohol but
they decided to go for their life's memory. I guess they thought that they were
going to die soon that's why they wanted to do something that they like to do.
Main event in this story is when they came back from the journey. The reason
why I chose this as a main event is because they talked about what was or was
not interesting about this journey. Good thing about journey was that they
could enjoy almost everything that happened to them however there was bad thing
happened too. Bad thing was before they went to journey, they argued a lot
because each person had different opinions. From these things that happened, I
could see character's feeling, what they are thinking. This is a fiction based
on the actual story. The passage I chose is "We were all feeling poor
health, and we were getting quite worried about it. Harris said that he felt
really bad sometimes, and he did not know what he was doing. And then George
said that he felt bad, too, and that he did not know what he was doing either.
With me it was my heart. I knew it was my heart because I ha read something in
a magazine about the symptoms of a bad heart. I had all of them." The
reason why I chose this passage is because I can see what kind of person they
are, which is the basic information of them.
I would like to recommend this book
because you can see the friendship between three characters through the story
such as even they fight they can be friend again. There are things that can be
happen in the real world so may be you can learn something from this story.

Summer School Project
I would like to talk about what I like about Singapore.
I lived in Singapore for 2 years. I would like to talk 3 things that I like about Singapore.
First what I like about Singapore is that it is always summer. I used to like winter more than summer, but when I went to Singapore, I begun to like summer more than winter. The good thing about Singapore is that we can play outside whole year. If weather is winter and also snowing, we cannot play sports such as soccer and baseball outside. I am grateful for the Singapore's weather because I couldn't play soccer well in hot season in Japan but when I went to Singapore I could play it very well. Which means my body became acclimatized to the hot weather.
Second thing that I like about Singapore is that there are people from different countries. When I was in Japan, I did not meet people from different countries so much. When I went to Singapore I met with many people from different countries such as Canadian, Indian, American, Chinese and French. The thing that I like about this is that I got to learn a lot of things from the people of different countries also I was able to teach them about Japan. Everyone, who I met, was very friendly but some of them were not. From this experience, I learned that I should be friendly to everyone and be nice to them.
The last thing that I like about Singapore is the food which is fabulous such as noodle, dumpling and there are many different types of food like Malay, Indian, American, Mexican and yes, Japanese food as well. If my friends are going to Singapore, I would like to recommend those food because I think they may not have eaten such a variety before.
Now I am going to talk the place that I recommend you to go in Singapore
First place that I recommend is Marina Bay Sand. I guess everyone know that place because my friends told me that it is usually showing on TV. It is a hotel and inside a hotel there is a huge shopping mall. The place that I like in Marina Bay Sand is buffet because there are many food that came from many countries including Japan, like sushi. I like almost everything but especially pasta. There are many different type of sauce such as tomato sauce, cream sauce. Therefore when I have time, I would like to go there again.
Second place that I recommend is Hawker. The reason why I recommend this place is because there is no place like hawker in Japan. Hawker is a local market where you eat. There is many food but not much variety. Mainly the food people are selling is from China, Malaysia, India and Malaysia. The food that I recommend you is checken rice. Chicken rice is most popular food in Singapore. That is cooked rice with chicken soup and put steamed chicken is put on the top of the rice. Beside the rice, there are some vegetables such as cucumber, tomato.
Singapore is a lovely place to stay, play sports and enjoy eating food in the different countries. I enjoyed myself immensely.

I started to learn English when I was living in Singapore for 2 years.

I've known English for 2 years.

I used to go to Canadian International School in Singapore.
- What is your strength in English?
I think I don't have any strength in English. If I were to say, it's speaking.
- What is your weakness in English?
My weakness parts in English are writing,reading comprehension and less vocabulary.
